Quickway Cleaners was established in the Fairfax Community on River Road in 1940. The cleaners found a better location on Trammell Avenue, facing Hwy 29, in the early 60s. In 1993, Jim Bishop and his family purchased the business, giving service to another generation of customers. With more space needed, Jim, along with daughter Chenel Brooks, found a perfect location on 20th Avenue near the hospital entrance. Quickway Cleaners offers all types of cleaning, pressing, and custom-care by hand for garments. Leather care is sent out and back quickly and items in by 10AM are ready by 2PM. Down comforters take a week and regular comforters and quilts take only one day. Jim and his staff handle your cleaning to make sure spots or stains get special attention. Open 7AM to 6PM, six days a week, Quickway Cleaners is a locally owned and operated business in Valley, Alabama.
