The first existing home rehab project sponsored by the Chattahoochee Fuller Center Project (CFCP) on Bennett Street in Valley was officially dedicated Wednesday afternoon. The owners of the house, L. C. & Eula Avery, have lived there almost 46 years.
Bill Scott, President of the CFCP, singled out Seth Kujat of "Leap of Faith Housing" for his efforts in the successful rehab of the Avery's existing home. Repairs included demolishing the back room on the house, building a new room, installing a new bathroom, and making the house look better and be more energy efficient with new siding.
Below are photos of the dedication ceremony and of the work as it progessed.
