- Features a 25-yard, 8-lane indoor competition pool for swim meets and swimmers with a zero-depth entry for wheelchairs and non-swimmers

- Administrative offices for the City of Valley Parks and Recreation Department
In addition, the Tennis Complex, which has 6 tennis courts, is located across from the Community Center. Valley's Community Center has received the Alabama Recreation & Parks Association District V Award and the Alabama Recreation & Parks Association 2003 - State Outstanding New Facility Award for a city with a population of 15,000 or less. Valley's Community Center is designated by the American Red Cross as a Disaster Relief Center. NOTICE: - No swimsuits or revealing clothing allowed in building
- No tank tops, short shorts, spandex suits, etc.
- Tank tops and spandex suits may be worn under loose clothing
- To enter the building, visitors & Members must be fully-dressed,including shoes
- Anyone coming to swim must enter and leave the building fully-dressed
- No 'heely shoes' are allowed in the Community Center - this is for everyone's safety

Fitness Room
The Fitness Room in the Community Center is used by many health conscious citizens. There are 13 Stairmaster Workout Stations for the major muscle groups for strength exercising and 5 treadmills, 4 bikes, and 2 Precore Stair-Steppers for cardio-vascular workouts. For members of the Valley Community Center a personal trainer, Jeffery Jackson, is available to assist you in your workouts or to formulate a workout program for you. Admission
A membership card or daily use fee is required to enter the facility unless you are enrolled in a special program or league. Children 12 years and under, prior to entering the facility, must be registered in a specific program, taking part in an organized activity or accompanied by a responsible adult 18 years of age or older.
Membership
Membership benefits include access to the pool; racquetball courts with no court fees; fitness room; community room for basketball and volleyball; and walking track. Membership applications may be picked up at the Front Desk of the Valley Community Center. Applications must be completed and returned with full payment to authorized personnel at the Front Desk of the Valley Community Center. Members are subject to all rules and regulations adopted by the City of Valley Community Center.
