The Public Works Department is responsible for maintaining the City’s infrastructure – roads, sidewalks, rights-of-way, trees, buildings, and grounds.  Cost control, quality assurance, and coverage of the entire city area are daily challenges for department management.

The Public Works Department consists of seasonal, full time and part time employees under the direction of Patrick Bolt.  Hours of operation are 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM EST Monday through Thursday.

To report concerns during operating hours please call 334-756-5209.  After hour emergencies such as downed trees, severe road hazards or other safety concerns should be reported to the 911 center for proper dispatch.
