City of Valley Rental Facilities and Parks

The Valley Recreation Department has several rental options including rooms at the Valley Community Center, Shawmut Kindergarten, Riverview Cafeteria, and Lakeview Cabin. Rentals range from groups as small as ten to events for 500. We offer hourly and daily rates depending on the facility. Multi-daily packages are also available. Birthday parties are also available at our indoor pool.

Rentals

Valley Community Center

Valley Community Center Rooms available for rental at the Valley Community Center include gym, Hood Room, Gray Room, and Crowder Room. The rooms will hold from 15 to 500. Rates depend on size of rental, purpose of rental and length of time. Rentals include but are not limited to weddings, family reunions, and business functions. Birthday party packages are available for the pool as well as private parties.

Shawmut Kindergarten

Shawmut Kindergarten is located at 3314 24th Avenue in the Shawmut Community and holds up to 40 participants. Rentals are usually for birthdays and showers. Daily Rental Fee: $100 rental/$200 cash deposit.

Riverview Cafeteria

Riverview Cafeteria is in the Riverview Community at 7755 School Street, Valley, AL and holds up to 200 people. Rentals have included wedding receptions and family reunions. Daily Rental Fee: $300 rental/$200 cash deposit.

Lakeview Cabin

Lakeview Cabin is situated by a small lake this is a perfect spot for small weddings, family reunions, and parties. The Cabin can be accessed through Valley Sportsplex Parking Lot or behind the West Point Pepperill Mill Store. The cabin holds up to 80 people. Daily Rental Fee: $400 rental/$300 cash deposit.

Rental Facilities

Parks & Boat Landings

The City of Valley has two parks and three boat landings.Valley City Park has a small playground and a ball field. Shawmut Airport is a wide open space located along the Chattahoochee River with a mile long walking trail. The boat landings are located in the Riverview Community, Langdale Community and at Shawmut Airport.
